End of the Fear 800px

This project was inspired by the nationwide ‘Places of Poetry’ initiative where copies of all the poems below are pinned to their relevant geographic locations. Each work is further accompanied by a series of location photographs, taken by me between May and June 2019 as inspiration, allowing those of you who aren’t lucky enough to live here an idea of exactly what you’re missing.

Where appropriate a short history of the location is provided (thanks Wikipedia) with some thoughts from me of what brought these 24 disparate spaces together to form one coherent body of work. That side of things continues to be a work in progress…
